Resumen
Construida a partir de tres intentos, la obra mayor de Luis Carrión,
El in-
fierno de todos tan temido
, transita entre la violencia —incluida la del 68
mexicano—, el alcohol, la locura, la literatura y su fidelidad a su visión
ideológica de izquierda. El autor del ensayo se detiene en el proceso de
construcción de la obra, las depresiones a las que es tan proclive su autor,
un viaje a España que le permite a éste concebir el proyecto final, la partici-
pación de la novela en el concurso de Primera Novela, convocado por el
fce
, y la obtención del primer lugar. Y a continuación, la recepción desa-
fortunada de la novela por la crítica literaria, en especial, la realizada dentro
en la revista
Plural
, su trasformación en un proyecto cinematográfico y el
sórdido ambiente político que dificultan la difusión, tanto de la novela
como de su versión cinematográfica, hasta derivar, finalmente, en el suici-
dio del escritor.

Constructed from three attempts, the main work of Luis Carrion,
The hell

, journeys between violence —including the Mexican year

ideological vision. The author of this essay stops over the writer’s process
of construction, and depressions to which he is prone, a trip to Spain that al-
lows him to conceive the final project, subscribing the novel to a contest for
Primera Novela, sponsored by the

then the unfortunate welcoming of the novel by literary critics, especially
the one made within

magazine, its transformation into a film project
and sordid political environment that hinder the diffusion of both the novel
and its version film, to lead finally in the suicide of the writer.
